A wonderfully peaceful place for Thanksgiving!

We really enjoyed this rustic little cabin. The girls enjoyed the loft and the playground outside. The scenery around Mammoth Creek was breathtaking at sunset, the neighbors were friendly, and the fireplace made a restful and peaceful environment. Any concerns were immediately addressed and taken care of by the friendly staff. It was a very memorable Thanksgiving.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to mammoth creek. It was a great stress relief. We had very friendly neighbors and they made us feel right at home. Although the internet and phone didn't seem to work it was nice to do without. We rode our quads straight out of the driveway, which we had direct access to main highway, to many different trails that would take us to Duck Creek and various scenic views. Saw lots of wild life(not just our own party animals). The cabin was large enough for our party of 8 but the kitchen was a liitle small for more than 2 people at a time. Need a larger water heater!! I am presently looking for property to purchase in the Mammoth Creek area since this trip. The weather was great except the last night it rained hard so we couldn't build a fire but we had a game night with all the kids. Mornings were awesome with the cooler temperatures as being from Vegas its hot period this time of year!
Manager's Response:
There was a problem with the wireless router provided by the local phone company. It has since been replaced. The wireless internet and phone are now working perfectly.
Primitively fun experience

The area is beautiful, but we were disappointed in the care of the cabin. The picnic table was so warped, that the first sitting it broke, and made it un-useable. This is not a cabin if you have crawling children, there are cords EVERYWHERE for them to grab. There was no soap in either of the bathrooms, and was not very clean. Although the kitchen is stocked, it is missing some key items. After we cleaned up and bought some soap, it was very comfortable. The playset in back was fabulous, and the landscape of the area cannot be beat.
Manager's Response:
This is a quaint rustic cabin in a beautiful setting with aged imperfections. Upon guest arrival, they contacted the property management to discuss the dust in between the wood slats on the floor and no hand soap in the bathroom. We offered to send the cleaning crew over immediately to deliver hand soap and re-clean the floors. The guest declined our offer. The hand soap was an oversight on our part and was delivered to the cabin. We offered again to clean the cabin. The missing item in the kitchen, a cookie sheet, has been purchased. The picnic table has been replaced.
